     The North Spartanburg Fire District employs 24 Full-Time employees.The staff consists of a Fire Chief, Assistant Chief, and Financial Officer that work Monday – Friday 8-5pm. Our suppression staff operates with 3 shifts that work a 24/48 schedule; each shift has 7 Full-time employees and 3 Part-time employees that are assigned to them. The shifts are supported by volunteers and off-duty personnel. Each shift is operated with a Shift Captain, Lieutenant, Sergeant and Firefighters educated to the level of either Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician.
