Stations

North Spartanburg Fire District has three stations within its 38 square mile protection district. All three stations have the same color scheme. Shady Grove Station and Wingo Park Station were built at the same time and have the same floor plan. All three stations have male and female bunkrooms, offices, a dayroom, a washer/dryer room and a kitchen. Also, each station has a backup generator capable of powering the total station. A vehicle maintenance shop is located behind Headquarters Station. This shop is used for routine maintenance of the Fire District vehicles. Please contact Tom Hall if you have any questions about our buildings and grounds program.

Headquarters Station is located at 8767 Asheville Highway. This Station houses Aerial 1, Brush 1, Engine 1, Engine 5, Squad 1, Truck 2 and the Antique Mack.

 

Shady  Grove Station is located at 1556 John Dodd Road. It houses Engine 2, Engine 4. This station serves the Western area of the Fire District.

 

Wingo Park Station is located at 2621 New Cut Road. It houses Engine 3, Engine 6, Truck 3 and Spartanburg EMS Medic 19. This station serves the central area of the Fire District. Most of this protection area is business and industrial.

 

The Vehicle Maintenance shop is located behind Headquarters. This building serves the vehicle maintenance division, SCBA repair, portable equipment storage and SCBA compressor. Please contact  Ken Dittemore for information about our Vehicle Maintenance Program.
