"Train as if your life depends on it, Because it does."
We wash our fire trucks daily, and that impresses the citizen who drops by the station. We wear our uniform shirts with shiny badges when we are in public eye, and that looks good. But do we put work and effort into ourselves every day? Do we review and sharpen the skills and principles that make us firefighters? So I ask this: do you just look-the-look, or, are you the one the lookers look-up-to? If your very best friend was trapped in a fire or sustained a serious injury - are you ready? Everyday should be a training day.
