Fire Prevention & Safety

One of our goals here at North Spartanburg is to work with the citizens of our district to create a community that is as safe as possible. We believe that fires, injuries, and fatalities can be reduced through proactive engagement and education.  If you have a specific request that is not addressed on this page, please contact us at 864-578-1616. We are always happy to assist residents within our district with safety and prevention issues, as well as our businesses, through our Fire Marshal Office.

North Spartanburg is excited to partner with the National Fire Safety Council to raise funds through local business donations, which will be used to purchase educational fire prevention materials and supplies for use in our district.

If you would like to donate to this program and assist us in providing fire prevention educational materials to the public, you can scan and donate using the QR Code below.

Smoke Alarm Request

One of the many services that we provide to our citizens is the installation of free smoke alarms in their homes. These smoke alarms are provided to our community through a federal grant and are installed in accordance with the recommendations made by the National Fire Protection Association. If you are a member of our district and need a smoke or Carbon Monoxide alarm, please complete the form below. We will contact you to provide more information and schedule a date and time.
